Johnny Phere vs Si Valour
The Year of Phere continues..... or will it? Two wins in 2007, but can the Psychotic Warrior Johnny Phere make it 3 in a row and continue his terrifying domination?
Pheres opponent for the night was newcomer to GPW, Simon Valour and while in the past newcomers haven't done too well against the Public Enemy Number 1, something different was in the air!
WKD vs Mil-Andfield Connection
Project Egos dominance of the tag team division finally came to an end last month when both D'Lyrium and Super Sam Bailey (WKD) overcame Hexx and Travis to become the new GPW tag team champions. However, during the gauntlet match there was a team that caused WKD some problems, and that team consisted of Jiggy Walker and "The Model" Danny Hope, The Mil-Anfield Connection.
Mil-Anfield were disqualified after WKDs Roxi had pointed out to the referee Mil-Anfields use of a chair.
Mil-Anfield have felt agrieved ever since that their shot was robbed and have challenged WKD to their first title defence as champions.
DDL vs The Juggernaught
After shocking everyone in the building last month and beating DDL, Alan A.A. Taskers man became the new British Champion. The huge Juggernaught only splashed onto the scene this January making his intentions clear.
Under the guidance of his attorney and law Mr. Alan A.A. Tasker, Juggernaught defeated DDL last month for the title. DDL has exercised his right for a re-match that will take place on the 16/3/7.
But how will the fans react to DDL after SINs offer of a place on their side of the fence?
Can DDL be trusted to do the right thing?
Can he overcome both the massive Juggernaught and his attorney and lawyer Alan A.A Tasker?
Dom Travis vs Heresy
After last months first time encounter between the two, it gave us everything we could of imagined. Drama, big moves, high risk and not to mention hard hits!!! It gave us seemingly everything - everything but a winner. After the action spilled out onto the Ballroom floor the match was deemed a draw when both participants failed to return to the ring after the 10 count.
A winner is needed on Friday and to ensure we wont see the same result as last month, there will be no count out rules for this Friday.
Will this play into Heresy's game plan? Or can Dom Travis adapt his ring style to notch up a huge win over the former champ?
El Ligero vs The Juice
A rivalry that has been simmering since the CC8 finals last year finally returns to one on one action in the ring. El Ligero overcame Juice last month in the 4-way match up when he rolled the highly rated S.I.N youngster up and took the victory.
Juice has been fuming ever since, and El Ligero is happy to grant one of the best up-coming stars in British wrestling a re-match to see who is the better man in one on one competition.
Chris Echo vs Joseph Hayes
Former geek Chris Echo has finally shed his geeky skin and left Elroy Doogle well behind and taken on his alter ego - Chris Echo. Echo was taken under WKDs wing as he went on a 101 of all things cool, and having graduated from the "School Of Cool" Doogle has now become Echo.
Taking on a new direction couldn't come at a more prominent time as Echo now faces his toughest ever challenge - Joseph Hayes.
Hayes involved himself in Echo's business last month and giving him a Teenage Kick he will never forget.
Hayes has marked Echo's card, but how will Echo retaliate?
Main Event Grudge Match
Bubblegum vs Mark Kodiak
Last month the "Grizzly Renegade" Mark Kodiak returned to the Monaco Ballroom and broke Dirk Feelgoods wrist in a surprise attack. Kodiak waged war with the Heavyweight champ and vowed to return to become the Heavyweight champion.
However, Dirk has been ruled out for the next 2 months due the severity of his injury, so Kodiak will have to wait before he gets a title shot.
Amid the chaos that ensued at the Monaco after Dirk suffered the broken wrist Bubblegum was prominent.
He lead forward a retaliation from backstage against Kodiak to try and fight off the huge Dutchman.
The extremely popular CC8 winner has now challenged Kodiak in this shows main event to fight for the honour of fallen best friend and reigning Heavyweight Champion - Dirk Feelgood.
Clear crowd favourite meets the hated enemy.... you cannot miss this!!
