The fifth show of 2006 was without a doubt the most exciting and entertaining show GPW had ever done until then, from explosive revelations and insane hardcore action, to the most shocking main event match ever to take place on British soil, this is a GPW DVD that no one should be without!

Featuring

In ring interview with WKD

Mark Kodiak vs Sudden Impact

Paddy D and Diablo wasted no time in hitting the ring and going straight after Kodiak after what he did to them at the last show.
Kodiak however was ready and despite the odds being against him he was able to take both men down. Kodiak decided to use his opponents own bodies as a weapon by slamming Paddy onto Diablo on several occasions.
Paddy and Diablo still had a bit of fight left in them though and were able to power bomb Kodiak off the top rope.

Mil-Anfield Connection vs Holmes Brothers

A lot of pressure was riding on both teams going into this match as it was set to be the final battle between them and not only that, the losers would have their heads shaved.
Both teams took advantage of the no disqualification rule bringing many weapons into the ring to use on their rivals.
There were several shocking moments in this match, including a double Russian leg sweep onto an actual wooden chair on Rupert, and Jiggy hitting a double stomp off the second rope through a table on Mike who was lying on a table.

JC Thunder & El Ligero vs Project Ego

With this being Thunder’s final match in GPW he had a lot to prove to his fans and he did indeed exceed expectations.
Both teams knew each other well having trained together in Sheffield and the United States at the former WCW training facility and it showed in this encounter.
Project Ego would eventually get the upper hand isolating Ligero from JC, but some desperate moves from Ligero allowed him to tag in JC.
One of the highlights of the match was when Ligero hit an awe inspiring Asai DDT on Kris Travis for a near fall.

Joseph Hayes vs Dragon Phoenix

After much speculation as to who Joseph was going to be facing on this show his opponent was revealed as Birmingham’s own Dragon Phoenix.
Both men started the match off by exchanging holds but the match soon turned into a battle of high risk offence with Phoenix desperate to end Hayes winning streak and Hayes adamant about keeping it going.

Grudge Match

Dirk Feelgood vs Johnny Phere

This match was the culmination of a feud that started just over a year ago when Phere first arrived in GPW and beat down Feelgood after one of his matches. Since then the two have clashed on several occasions, most recently, Phere eliminated Dirk from the Rumble at A Few Good Men despite him no longer being legal in the match.
So this match was set to finally settle the score once and for all and it did not disappoint.
The match started with a feeling out process with neither man willing to give up the advantage.

International Heavyweight Championship Match

Heresy vs Bugglegum<

Bubblegum hit the ring and cleared the 4 members of SIN from the ring not realising Heresy was also making his way to ringside and seemed to be holding something?
