Ballroom Blitz - ?A Night of Calamities? 
The following Calamities befell this show and DVD production
A famous North-west DJ was booked to appear and wrestle Heresy, but unfortunately had double booked himself and was a no show (was he filming Chicken Run 2 or The Brown Trousers or Yellow Back Mountain?)
The sound system blows a fuse and is out of action until a new fuse is found Si Valour and Juggernaught break the Ring. Spot if you can, when it breaks!
2 new camera men were used and got a lot of foot shots
Technical difficulties with the camera light levels and green shading giving a poor quality picture
Nightmare editing process resulting in the 1st version only playing on some DVD players
Hence the low price this DVD is offered for as the picture is viewable but not the best. -

Strictly Come Wrestling 
Last month saw the beginnings of an invasion on GPW lead by Jak Domitrescu and known as "The Eastern Bloc" have targeted Damon Leigh as their first victim. Over in England for "our jobs, our women and our titles" the Boys on the Bloc have come in numbers and Domitrescu wont be alone as Russian, Twizzie Ramonoff, Norwegian, Thor Laarsen and Latvian Kris Egan will be in his corner. This new group really do pose a great threat to the 4 time British Champ, DDL as they attempt to mark their arrival in this country by taking the British title.
With the return of the Crazy Cruiser 8 competition, qualifying matches start tonight, so there's more high profile, hard hitting and high flying action than ever before at GPW. -
5th Anniversary Supershow 
The Best show of 2008.
We celebrated our 5th Anniversary on July 4th and this was "hands down" our single biggest show we've ever done.
This was a huge occasion for us and the fans loved it. Not many wrestling promotions make it this far and we are proud to have, with every year being better than the last!
